You need to be organized in what you do. If you don´t keep a journal where you write down all the important information about your internet business for yourself you can get lost.
It is really simple to keep track of all your actions. Just write down all the passwords and accountnames you have. Sounds stupid but you will get confused with all those different websites like blogger, Adsense, YouTube, Twitter, Elance, Clickbank, MySpace, facebook, etc...
So just write down those passwords. It´s really no work - just use Excel or a sheet of paper. It only becomes work if you forget one and DID NOT write it down.
Another thing you should do is to analyze your efforts and their outcome. With Adsense it is easy, cause they do it all for you. But still play around with different block sizes, different colors and keep track of it. See how much the click rates change if you use a different block size and learn from your analysis to improve your ads.
Also write down your YouTube efforts. Keep a journal of how many channel views you had, how many comments and friend invitations you sent out, how many video views you had. Write it down everyday and you will see the correlation between comments and channel views and between channel views and blog/website visits.
